Let Us Draw Near

LET US DRAW NEAR

Today is Good Friday! This evening we will gather in the main sanctuary (7:00 pm) for a night of worship and commemorate the death of Jesus Christ.

Good Friday is a good day for the church to commemorate the death of Jesus. It is a good day to remember why Jesus had to die. It is a good day to give thanks. Jesus has made Good Friday a Good Day.

Good Friday is also a good day to learn the meaning of several truths concerning Christ’s death. (1) It was sacrificial, (2) It was vicarious, (3) It was substitutionary, (4) It was propitiatory, (5) It was expiatory, (6) It was efficacious, (7) It was victorious.

All of the above results of Christ’s sacrificial death occur potentially for all people, but only actually for individuals who accept Jesus Christ and His death for them through faith.
Believing Jesus to pour out His Spirit upon all who are here. Believing Jesus to bring people to saving faith in His name.  Believing Jesus to minister to all who are in need. Believing Jesus will enjoy being with His people.

The service's live stream (Facebook & Youtube: Calvary Inverness; website: calvaryinv.com) is available for those who cannot attend. You may not be with your church family in person, but you will still be able to participate in all that God is able and willing to do.
BECAUSE HE DIED FOR ME,
Pastor
