Millions of Americans, along with people in Europe and the Middle East, have been glued to their TVs, watching as the Americans, together with Israel, launched a preemptive strike on the evil dictatorship of Iran. While some question the motives of the leaders of the USA and Israel, the Iranians are not among them. Celebrations have broken out in Tehran, Tel Aviv, New York City, and across the Iranian diaspora.

In the past few weeks, the Ayatollah has ordered his army to suppress the uprising among the people. Estimates vary, but most agree that more than 30,000 people have been killed (though credible reports suggest the number is closer to 100,000).

Both the American President and the Prime Minister of Israel have insisted their attack isn’t about regime change. Instead, the bombing was carried out to give the people of Iran a chance to reclaim their country from the tyrants who have controlled it for over fifty years.

In light of this weekend’s events, we will come together to open our Bibles and hearts, focusing on the Author and Finisher of our faith to understand what He says about another war in the Middle East and the future of Israel, Iran, and the nations of the world.
 
Please continue to pray for our leaders to make wise decisions, seeking God’s perfect will, for all of our military and first responders who are facing increased violence and chaos in our inner cities, and for pastors across our nation to be bold and courageous, willing to preach Bible prophecy.
